A star ceremony was held at Raj Bhavan today to celebrate Inspector Neelkishore Awasthi’s promotion to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police. Governor R. Deka affixed the DSP rank insignia on his shoulder. Deka congratulated him and wished him a bright future. The Governor’s Secretary, Dr. C. R. Prasanna, ADC Sqn. Ldr. Nishant Kumar, Chief Security Officer Prashant Katlam, and other officers were present at the event.
