In a blend of spirituality and progress, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will worship at Varanasi’s Kashi Vishwanath Temple before inaugurating the ₹36,230 crore Ganga Expressway in Hardoi on Wednesday. This 594-km high-speed corridor will redefine travel and trade in Uttar Pradesh.

The schedule is precise: temple darshan at 8:30 AM, followed by a flight to Hardoi for the 11:30 AM launch and a public address. Spanning 12 key districts from Meerut to Prayagraj, the six-lane greenfield expressway cuts journey times dramatically—from over 10 hours to just six between endpoints.

Engineered for the future, it features a unique 3.5-km airstrip in Shahjahanpur for emergencies, positioning it as more than infrastructure—it’s a strategic asset. Economically, it’s a game-changer, with plans for manufacturing and logistics hubs on 2,635 hectares, promising lower costs, robust supply chains, and competitive industries.

Rural economies will thrive as farmers access markets faster, securing premium prices and income growth. Integrating with UP’s vast expressway grid—including Agra-Lucknow, Jewar, and future links to Haridwar—the Ganga Expressway forms the core of a transformative network.

This project exemplifies India’s infrastructure ambition under Modi, fostering jobs, development, and national integration. As the ribbon is cut, Uttar Pradesh steps into a faster, more prosperous tomorrow.
