A tragic railway accident occurred at Sonpur Railway Station in Bihar on Friday evening. A railway officer, identified as Vijay Kumar Singh, fell from the Jogbani-Danapur Intercity train while attempting to board it. He was subsequently struck by the train and died. Singh, aged 43, held the position of Deputy Chief Controller. He resided in the Anand Dwarika Heritage Apartment in Shivpuri, Anisabad, Patna. The incident happened as he was returning to Patna after his duty. Singh worked in the control office of the operations department of the Sonpur railway division. Upon receiving the news, a crowd gathered at the scene. After the body was identified, the authorities informed the family.
