DK Shivakumar Sings RSS Anthem in Karnataka Assembly, Sparks Controversy

Karnataka Congress leader and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar recently stirred controversy in the state assembly. Shivakumar sang the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) anthem during a session on Thursday. The act immediately drew sharp criticism from the BJP, leading to speculation about Shivakumar's political affiliations.

Facing scrutiny, DK Shivakumar issued a clarification. This followed conjecture that Shivakumar might be considering joining the BJP. He stated, "I am a Congressman by birth and will remain with the Congress for life. There is no intention of joining hands with the BJP."
