Controversy during voting: Policeman on polling duty assaulted the drunk city soldier, accused arrested

Dilshad Ahmed, Surajpur. A case of assault has come to light during the second phase three -tier panchayat elections. A policeman on duty at Premnagar Raghunathpur polling station in Surajpur district was beaten up by a city soldier. While taking action in the case, the police have arrested the accused.

According to the information received, the city soldier was intoxicated and he beat up the policeman posted at the polling station after a dispute. After the incident, the policemen present there took immediate action and arrested the accused. The police is taking further action in the case.
