Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Bengaluru. Sources within the party indicate that Kharge was admitted to MS Ramaiah Hospital in Bengaluru due to a high fever. Medical professionals are providing care. A party official stated that the 83-year-old Kharge’s condition is stable and there is no cause for concern.
A Congress leader shared that the Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha was taken to the hospital on Tuesday following complaints of fever and leg pain. He is doing well, and there is no reason to worry. Doctors are closely monitoring his condition. Many Congress workers are expressing their wishes for Kharge’s speedy recovery via social media.
Kharge recently participated in a CWC meeting held in Patna, Bihar. Several leaders, including Kharge, attended the meeting at Sadaqat Ashram. Kharge addressed the gathering, during which he criticized the BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the Election Commission, among others. He asserted that the current international challenges faced by the country are a consequence of Prime Minister Modi’s actions.
Mallikarjun Kharge serves as the national president of the Congress party. He is a Member of Parliament representing Karnataka in the Rajya Sabha. He has been at the helm of the Congress for a considerable period. He became the party president in 2022.
