CM Rekha Gupta Unveils Rs 10 Cr Loan Scheme for Women Entrepreneurs in Delhi

In a major step toward women's economic independence, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta launched a collateral-free loan facility of up to Rs 10 crore for women-led startups and self-help groups. Speaking at the Mega Self Help Group Mela 2026 in Rohini, she stated that the government would stand as guarantor for these funds. The initiative is designed to remove the financial hurdles that prevent women from scaling their businesses. The fair featured various self-help groups showcasing handicrafts and khadi products, promoting the vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat and the importance of supporting local 'Swadeshi' brands over foreign alternatives.
