Chirag Paswan Voices Concern Over Thane Assault, Questions Divisive Politics

Union Minister Chirag Paswan has strongly condemned the assault on a shop owner in Maharashtra's Thane district, which reportedly occurred due to the shop owner not speaking Marathi. Speaking to reporters in Vaishali, Bihar, Paswan expressed his concern over the increasing divisions within India, citing language, region, religion, and caste as factors. He emphasized the importance of respecting India's diverse cultures and languages, while also criticizing political leaders who promote divisive agendas for personal gain. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has also responded, promising strict legal action against those engaging in violence related to the language issue, stating that such actions will not be tolerated.
