Chief Minister Hemant Soren to Stay in Nemra for 13 Days

Following the final rites of Dishom Guru Shibu Soren, Chief Minister Hemant Soren will remain in his ancestral village, Nemra, for 13 days. During this period, the 13th-day rituals will be performed. According to traditional customs, he will pray to the Marang Buru deity for the peace of his father and political mentor, Shibu Soren’s soul. Hemant Soren’s wife, Kalpana Soren, his brother Basant Soren, other family members, and villagers will participate in the rituals organized for the departed soul’s peace. The Chief Minister’s office will temporarily operate from his ancestral village. The Ramgarh district administration is also establishing a temporary office in the village. Arrangements for internet connectivity are being made for the office’s operation. A Jio company setup is being prepared on the BSNL tower in Nemra village. Over the past two days, all district administration officials and police officers in charge of security have been present in Nemra village. They had to establish contact through walkie-talkies. There was significant inconvenience due to the lack of mobile network coverage. However, efforts are underway to ensure that there are no mobile network or internet issues for the next 13 days.
