In the Gandhinagar police station area, a husband murdered his wife in the village of Digama. The incident reportedly occurred after a dispute while the husband was under the influence of alcohol. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation. According to initial reports, the husband, identified as Umashankar, argued with his wife on Saturday night. It is alleged that Umashankar killed his wife, Shila, by strangling her with a stick. Upon arrival at the scene, police found injury marks on the victim’s neck. The accused husband, Umashankar, has been taken into custody.
