CG Weather News: Raipur. Even before Holi, the heat in the state has started showing its color. In the last 24 hours, the temperature has increased by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius. Due to the western cyclone and disturbance, the temperature in the state is increasing rapidly, due to which people are facing scorching heat.

Mercury has started climbing in many districts of the state. The maximum temperature in Sarangarh reached 40 degrees, while the temperature in Raipur and Bilaspur was recorded at 39 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, today the weather of the state will be dry and the effect of heat may increase continuously.
