In Patna, Bihar, a man has been arrested for brutally attacking a 4-year-old boy, severing his private parts with a blade. The suspect, identified as Guddu Paswan, harbored suspicions about his wife’s alleged affair with the child’s father. He lured the boy to his home under the guise of offering him chocolates, where he carried out the heinous act. Following the attack, Paswan fled the scene but was later apprehended by the police.
The incident occurred in the Gauri Chak police station area of Patna. After interrogation, Paswan confessed to the crime, revealing his belief that his wife was involved in an illicit relationship with the victim’s father. Driven by anger and a desire for revenge, he targeted the innocent child.
The assault took place on a Saturday. Paswan enticed the child, who was visiting his maternal grandmother for the Raksha Bandhan festival, by offering him chocolates. He then took the boy to his house and committed the violent act. The child’s screams alerted family members, who rushed to the scene.
Paswan managed to escape before the family arrived. The injured child was immediately rushed to a hospital and is in critical condition. The child’s family reported the incident to the police, leading to an investigation and the subsequent arrest of Paswan. It’s reported that Paswan had an argument with the child’s maternal relatives a few days prior. Fueled by his suspicion about his wife, he chose to inflict harm on the boy, resulting in shock and outrage throughout the community.
