In anticipation of upcoming festivals, Bihar Police has implemented stringent security measures. Preparations are underway for Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi on September 5th, Anant Chaturdashi on September 6th, and Vishwakarma Puja on September 17th. All processions require prior licensing from local authorities. A complete ban on DJs during processions has been imposed. Additional security forces have been deployed across all districts. Peace committee meetings are mandated before any procession or immersion. Routes for processions must be determined and physically verified. Sensitive areas are to be identified and reinforced. All processions will be videographed, and divers will be stationed at designated immersion ghats. Control rooms at the district and police headquarters will operate around the clock, with regular updates from all districts to assess the situation. Districts have been instructed to monitor and counter any rumors and social media activity. Preventative actions against a significant number of suspects have also been taken.
