In a bid to resurrect Jan Shakti Janata Dal’s presence in Bihar, party chief Tej Pratap Yadav has named Prem as the new state president. Speaking to the media in Patna on February 14, Yadav outlined ambitious plans for organizational revival.
‘Our party structure had collapsed over time. Today, we appoint Prem to lead Bihar operations. He will establish committees across every assembly seat and facilitate my statewide tours,’ Yadav declared.
This strategic appointment is part of a broader effort to consolidate the party’s base and prepare for upcoming challenges in Bihar’s volatile political landscape.
Shifting gears, Yadav celebrated actor Rajpal Yadav’s release on bail. ‘Congratulations to Rajpal! He has our party’s full backing. May he enjoy Maha Shivratri with loved ones,’ he said warmly.
As a Shiva bhakt, Yadav shared his own plans: ‘Tomorrow is all about devotion to Mahadev for me.’
Reacting to MP Pappu Yadav’s bail after threats to his life, Yadav adopted a philosophical tone. ‘Plots are routine in politics. Assassination attempts target us too. Pappu should now reconnect with the masses,’ he advised.
Yadav also slammed ex-IPS Amitabh Das’s arrest, calling his accusations against others ‘groundless rants.’ ‘He spewed lies about me before, and his claims on Nishant are equally fabricated,’ he charged.
These developments highlight Tej Pratap’s multifaceted role—from party organizer to commentator on national figures—positioning Jan Shakti Janata Dal as an emerging force in Bihar.
