A young life cut short in Bhabua, Bihar, after a night out turned deadly due to contaminated food from a neighborhood restaurant, now under seal by district officials. The victim, 20-year-old Vishal Kumar Tiwari from Sarangpur, shared a late-night meal of Manchurian and Kadai Paneer with his brother Vinayak and friend Devraj Kumar Singh.

What started as a casual dinner around 10:30 PM spiraled into a medical emergency as vomiting and other severe symptoms hit all three overnight. By dawn, their health had plummeted, and they were admitted to Sadar Hospital at 4:30 AM. Vishal was declared dead on the spot, devastating his family.

Accusations flew thick and fast from grieving relatives, who accused the hospital of hasty judgment without adequate checks. Shockingly, post-declaration, they observed signs of life in Vishal and rushed him to a private clinic. There, medical staff allegedly verified death had occurred mere moments before, fueling controversy over protocol adherence at the state-run facility.

The hospital superintendent refuted claims of malpractice. Prompt response from administrators like Amit Kumar and Aniket Amar followed, alongside police action via an FIR based on the father’s complaint. As the younger brother and friend recover, the community grapples with fears over unregulated food vendors.

This case underscores the urgent call for robust food inspection mechanisms. Authorities promise a detailed inquiry, but for Vishal’s family, justice remains the only solace amid profound loss.
