Attempted Shoe-Throwing Incident at Supreme Court Involving Chief Justice Gavai

An attorney made an attempt to attack Chief Justice of India (CJI) B.R. Gavai within the Supreme Court on Monday. According to initial reports, the lawyer tried to throw a shoe at CJI Gavai during arguments. However, security personnel intervened in time to prevent the attack.

Security personnel escorted the lawyer out of the court. During this process, the individual shouted, 'We will not tolerate the insult of Sanatan.' CJI Gavai maintained composure throughout the incident, stating, 'We are not perturbed by this; you may continue with your arguments.'
