Afghanistan Earthquake: India Sends Aid as Death Toll Surpasses 1400

A devastating earthquake in Afghanistan has upended lives. The quake, which struck on Sunday night, has claimed over 1400 lives and injured more than 2500 people. India has responded by sending 21 tons of relief materials to assist the Afghan people. The Indian Foreign Minister, S. Jaishankar, stated that India is closely monitoring the situation in Afghanistan and is prepared to provide all possible humanitarian aid as needed.
