The district administration in Pendra has taken decisive action regarding the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PM Awas Yojana) in the Pendra development block. Secretary Rajkumar Sharma of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat has been suspended due to negligence and lack of diligence. Additionally, a show-cause notice has been issued to Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant of the same panchayat. Furthermore, instructions have been issued for the immediate transfer of the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat to another location. This action was taken under the direction of District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaidh, who has emphasized that negligence in government schemes will not be tolerated at any level. Vaidh has warned all panchayat staff that strict action will continue against those who impede the progress of important schemes like the PM Awas Yojana. This stern approach by the administration has caused a stir in the panchayats, with instructions being given to other panchayats to implement schemes in a timely and transparent manner.
