New Policy Guidelines Released to Streamline India's Clinical Trials

At the ICMR's inaugural Annual Clinical Trial Conference held on International Clinical Trials Day, two pivotal documents were launched to improve the regulatory landscape in India. These include a Delphi study on advancing Phase-1 trials and new operational guidelines for ethical reviews across multiple research centers. These steps are designed to make clinical trials more transparent and efficient. The conference also featured a breakthrough study on anemia, where Ayurvedic treatments demonstrated comparable efficacy to conventional medicine, further validating the role of integrated research in national health policy.
