Two individuals implicated in the shooting at Bollywood actress Disha Patani’s residence in Bareilly were killed in a police encounter in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The suspects, linked to a prominent transnational criminal gang, were injured during the confrontation. The incident relates to a shooting on September 12th, when shots were fired at Patani’s childhood home in Bareilly. The actress’s family, including her father, mother, and sister, were present at the time. Gangster Goldy Brar, operating from Canada, claimed responsibility for the attack via social media, citing alleged comments made by Patani and her sister about religious figures. The encounter, a joint operation by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) and the Delhi Police Crime Intelligence (CI) Unit, occurred on Thursday. The suspects opened fire on the approaching team, leading to an exchange of gunfire in which they sustained serious injuries. Authorities recovered weapons, including a Glock pistol and a Zigana pistol, from the scene. The suspects were identified as Ravindra from Rohtak and Arun from Sonipat.
