The film and television industry is in shock following the untimely passing of Shefali Jariwala on June 27, 2025, at the age of 42. The cause of her death remains unknown, leaving fans and well-wishers devastated. Her husband, Parag Tyagi, was visibly distraught outside the hospital.
Shefali openly shared her love for Parag and recounted their meeting. In a previous interview with Times Now, she described their introduction as an ‘arranged date,’ stating they instantly connected. She added that they balanced each other out well.
Before her relationship with Parag, Shefali was married to Harmeet Singh. They married in 2004 and separated in 2009. She spoke candidly about the emotional challenges she faced during her previous marriage, stating the importance of recognizing when one isn’t appreciated. She highlighted that mental violence is prevalent and can lead to significant unhappiness.
Mumbai police have confirmed that the cause of her death is still under investigation. “Mumbai Police received information about this at 1 am. Her body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem. The cause of death is not yet clear,” the authorities stated.
Shefali Jariwala gained widespread fame after appearing in the music video ‘Kaanta Laga.’ She participated in several television reality shows, including Boogie Woogie, Nach Baliye 5, Nach Baliye 7, and Bigg Boss 13. She also appeared in the web series ‘Baby Come Naa’.
