Pakistani Actress Ayesha Khan Found Dead in Karachi Apartment

Veteran Pakistani actress Ayesha Khan has been discovered deceased in her Karachi apartment, located in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 7. The discovery was made nearly a week after her passing. Khan, aged 76, had reportedly been living alone for several years. Her body was found after neighbors reported a foul odor emanating from her residence. Police have initiated an investigation, taking the body to Jinnah Hospital for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause and time of death. Following the examination, the body was transferred to the Edhi Foundation’s mortuary in Sohrab Goth. Ayesha Khan was a prominent figure during Pakistan’s golden age of television and was the elder sister of actress Khalida Riyasat. She starred in several popular television shows and also appeared in films.
