Odisha is poised for an economic surge as Karan Adani, MD of Adani Ports and SEZ, announced a whopping ₹33,081 crore investment in three game-changing projects. Set to create 9,700 jobs, these ventures mark a new era of industrial prosperity for the eastern state.

Kicking off with Bhubaneswar’s upcoming data center, funded at ₹800 crore, the project will spawn 200 jobs while supercharging the digital sector. It’s a clear signal of Odisha’s readiness to embrace the tech revolution.

Dominating the investment is the ₹30,181 crore thermal power plant near Cuttack, projected to employ 7,000 people. This powerhouse will stabilize electricity for homes and factories, driving industrial momentum.

A ₹2,100 crore cement plant in the same vicinity will add 2,500 jobs, bolstering infrastructure projects and construction activities statewide.

During the event, Karan Adani declared these projects as emblems of faith in Odisha’s trajectory. ‘We’re not merely investing; we’re building an economic hub,’ he stated. The group is deepening its presence, committed to sustained growth.

Praising Odisha’s resources, talent pool, and governance, Adani urged swift execution of mega projects. ‘Odisha is already a key economic player and will emerge as India’s industrial-tech beacon,’ he affirmed, with Adani Group vowing long-haul collaboration.
