On World Tribal Day, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren commemorated his late father, Shibu Soren, and pledged to follow in his footsteps. He paid respects to all the brave ancestors of the tribal community. Soren mentioned his father, a guide, guru, and a symbol of struggle, was not only his parent but also the soul of Jharkhand and a vocal protector of its land, forests, and water. He highlighted that the tribal society has shown humanity the path to a happy life by living in harmony with nature. The Chief Minister also noted the importance of the World Tribal Day in uniting the rich civilization and culture of the tribal society and providing a global platform for their talent.
