Supreme Court Mandates License Display for Eateries Along Kanwar Yatra Routes

The Supreme Court has issued a directive to dhaba and restaurant owners operating along the Kanwar Yatra routes. The court has ordered strict adherence to the Uttar Pradesh government’s regulations, mandating the prominent display of registration details and licenses.

The court stated, “At this stage, all the respective hotel owners shall comply with the mandate of license and registration certificate as required statutorily. We make it clear that we’re not going into the issues being argued. The application stands closed.”
