An alarming incident has come to light in Korba, Chhattisgarh, where a female doctor was targeted in an attempted rape at the Top N Town hotel, located opposite the SP office. The doctor, who was staying at the hotel for training at the Korba District Medical College Hospital, was attacked by a hotel employee. The perpetrator, identified as 35-year-old Raja Khadia, a sanitation worker, entered the doctor’s room through the window with malicious intent. He threatened her with a knife when she resisted. The doctor’s screams alerted others, prompting the attacker to flee. Police at the Civil Lines police station have taken the accused into custody for questioning.
