In Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, Maoist insurgents have murdered two education workers. Their bodies were discovered in the Pilur village forest on the morning of July 15th. One of the deceased has been identified as Vinod Made, who worked as an education envoy. The victims were accused of being police informers. Official confirmation of the incident is still pending. This event follows a series of killings in Bijapur, where Maoists have executed six individuals within the last 15 days on suspicion of being informants. The victims included four villagers and two students. Over the past 25 years, Maoists have been responsible for the deaths of 1,821 people.
