Tragedy in Jamtara: Grandmother and Grandson Die as Mud House Collapses in Heavy Rain

A devastating incident in the Jamtara district of Jharkhand claimed the lives of a grandmother and her grandson. The tragedy occurred in Kalipathar village, Naala police station area, amidst continuous heavy rainfall. The mud house they were residing in collapsed late Wednesday night. The two-and-a-half-year-old child, Manish Kumar Hembram, died at the scene. His grandmother, Binodi Kisku, succumbed to her injuries this Thursday morning while undergoing treatment. Binodi’s daughter-in-law also sustained injuries in the collapse.
