BAPS Swami Meets LDS Church Leaders in Salt Lake City to Promote Interfaith Dialogue

In a historic meeting on June 18, 2025, Pujya Brahmaviharidas Swami of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha engaged in discussions with the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The gathering, which included tours of key LDS sites and a meeting with President Dallin H. Oaks and President Henry B. Eyring, focused on fostering global harmony, faith-driven service, and humanitarian efforts. Both religious organizations emphasized the importance of spiritual communities in building a more compassionate and united world. The BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi was highlighted as a symbol of interfaith collaboration.
