In a shocking incident, Maoists have murdered a surrendered Maoist and a civilian in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. The incident occurred just before Union Minister Amit Shah’s scheduled visit to the state. According to initial reports, the killings took place in Yampur Sandra Bor village last night. The victims, identified as former Maoist Veko Deva and a villager named Samaiya, were allegedly targeted on suspicion of being informants.
