Amid the fervor of Maha Shivratri celebrations at Sadhguru’s ashram in Coimbatore, Srinidhi Shetty, the reigning Miss Supranational 2016 and rising star, reflected on her childhood memories and the transformative power of spirituality.
‘School always got in the way,’ Srinidhi laughed while speaking to the media on February 15. ‘Maha Shivratri meant Shiva puja, feasting on special dishes, and those magical all-night vigils. But homework and early mornings clipped our wings.’
Delving deeper into wellness, she advocated for meditation as a daily anchor. ‘Stress is inevitable in today’s fast-paced world,’ Srinidhi said. ‘Meditation helps navigate those turbulent times, bringing steadiness.’
Echoing Sadhguru’s wisdom, she described meditation as ‘not confined to a meditation mat. It’s about staying connected inwardly at all times. Seize any moment, even brief ones, to access that profound calm.’
Spirituality has woven itself into the fabric of her life, Srinidhi revealed. ‘It maintains equilibrium in my hectic schedule, fostering peace of mind and sharp focus across career and personal fronts.’
From her debut in ‘KGF: Chapter 1,’ which catapulted her to fame and a SIIMA nomination, to the record-breaking ‘KGF: Chapter 2,’ Srinidhi has solidified her status. Her roles in ‘Cobra’ and as the formidable IPS Mrudula in ‘HIT: The Third Case’ showcase her range and intensity.
Srinidhi’s story is one of harmonious growth, where festive nostalgia meets mindful living and cinematic triumphs.
