The trailer for Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Assi’ is out, and it’s already sparking conversations. Following his track record with socially charged hits like Mulk and Thappad, Sinha returns with a courtroom saga starring Taapsee Pannu that tackles women’s plight and ignored news stories head-on.
In the trailer, Pannu embodies a fierce advocate who refuses to back down, navigating intense investigations and ethical clashes. Clocking in at nearly three minutes, it begins with unease, highlighting Kani Kusruti’s poignant performance as the story’s emotional core. Expect high-stakes drama that probes deeper into morality, justice, and societal neglect.
