It’s projected to hit the ₹100 crore mark imminently, solidifying its position as a Diwali success.
Meanwhile, the critically acclaimed ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ continues its phenomenal run. Despite releasing on October 2, the Rishab Shetty starrer has defied expectations, now boasting an impressive domestic collection of ₹589.20 crore. The film’s remarkable box office journey has also extended globally, with worldwide earnings already surpassing ₹800 crore and still climbing.
In a contrasting scenario, ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’, starring Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa, is maintaining a steady pace. The romantic drama, which also premiered on October 21, has garnered ₹41.25 crore after its sixth day. While it took a gentler start, its consistent performance indicates sustained audience interest.
Tamil releases ‘Dude’ and ‘Bison Kaalamaadan’ are experiencing a more subdued performance. ‘Dude’, after an initial strong week, saw a dip, reaching ₹64.90 crore by its tenth day. ‘Bison Kaalamaadan’ is showing slow but steady progress, with its total collection reaching ₹35.25 crore on its tenth day.
