Chinese company Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has launched two of its smartwatch Watch GS Pro and Watch ES in India. Watch ES Youth is focused while GS Pro is especially for people who like adventure and sports activity. The Watch ES offers a rectangular display while the Watch GS Pro offers a circular display, which gives it the look and feel of a normal wristwatch. The GS Pro is also a MIL-STD-810G Certified Rugged Smartwatch. Both were introduced for the first time at IFA 2020 last month
- The Honor Watch GS Pro features a 1.39-inch circular AMOLED touch display, which has a resolution of 456×454 pixels. It works on the Kirin A1 processor, which is also on the Huawei Watch GT2 and Freebeds 3.
- The watch has dual satellite navigation support with GPS to make tracking stronger. It also has a built-in speaker and microphone for quick voice calls.
- The SpO2 monitor is available in the watch for measuring blood-oxygen levels such as the Apple Watch Series 6 and other such gadgets. However, it has not received any medical certification. Apart from this, it is equipped with 24×7 heart rate monitoring feature.
- For fitness enthusiasts, the Honor Watch GS Pro comes with over 100 workout modes, such as skiing, hiking, mountain climbing, trail running, and swimming. The smartwatch also has a two-relay stress monitor and true-sleep for improved mental health and sleep tracking respectively. Apart from this, it will get a 6-axis sensor which is capable of recording data for many activities including trial (distance), average speed, maximum speed and commutative elevation.
