New Delhi Gold prices also saw an increase on Friday. In this way, the price of gold was seen in the 16th consecutive session. According to HDFC Securities, gold surged to an all-time record high of Rs 57,008 per 10 gram in the national capital in the last trading session of the week. In the previous session, gold had closed at Rs 57,002 per 10 gram level. In this way, the price of gold is seen increasing by 6 rupees on Friday. It is noteworthy that amid the uncertainties arising out of the global economy due to the coronavirus epidemic, investment in gold, considered safe asset, has increased significantly, due to which the prices of gold are continuously rising.
The price of silver is also on the sky
Silver prices also increased due to strong demand. Silver rose by Rs 576 to Rs 77,840 per kg in the last trading session of the week. At the time of market closing on Thursday, silver was priced at Rs 77,264 per kg.
