Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, the Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao campaign is benefiting millions of women. Women already have 50% reservation in Panchayati Raj institutions. Now, women will soon get the benefit of 33% reservation in the Legislative Assembly and Lok Sabha as well. He said that today women are playing a leading role in important fields ranging from politics to flying fighter planes and operating trains.

Women’s Madai organized on the theme “Ajeya Nari – Aradhya Nari”

The four-day Women’s Madai was organized on the theme “Ajeya Nari – Aradhya Nari” (Invincible Woman – Adorable Woman). In this, 87 women self-help groups from 33 districts of the state exhibited and sold their handmade products.

Along with this, the schemes being run by the Department of Women and Child Development were also presented to the general public through various mediums.
