Petrol & diesel prices rise after election results

Just after the election results came, the prices of oil have been seen steadily. Petrol price in Delhi has increased by 14 paise. This is the fourth increase in the last one week. On Thursday, an increase of 8 paise was recorded. Petrol is getting Rs 71.39 per liter in Delhi on Friday. There is no relief in diesel prices. On Friday, diesel prices have increased by 16 paise. On Thursday it had increased nine paise. Diesel is getting Rs 66.45 per liter on 24th May. With the increase in prices of 14 paise in Mumbai, petrol is getting Rs 77 per liter. Diesel price is being sold at Rs 69.63 per liter with an increase of 17 paise. In Chennai, petrol was up by Rs. 74.11 per liter with increase of 15 paise and diesel by 17 paise to Rs. 70.25 per liter. In Kolkata, petrol was up by 14 paise to Rs 73.46 and diesel by 16 paise to Rs 68.21 per liter.
