Tragic news has emerged from Digha, where Shaligram Mahadev Manki, grandson of freedom fighter late Singraj Singh Manki, passed away unexpectedly. Manki, who was also the president of the Khunti District Manki Association and a respected social worker, was the son of Govardhan Singh Manki. Originally from Jojohatu in Khunti district, his untimely death in the waters of Digha has sent shockwaves through the community. Family members departed for Digha on Thursday night upon receiving the distressing news. Condolences have poured in from various prominent figures, including former Chief Minister Arjun Munda, former MP representative Manoj Kumar, Priyank Bhagat, and BJP District General Secretary Sanjay Sahu, all expressing deep sorrow over Manki’s demise.
