In Balod district of Chhattisgarh, a malnutrition eradication campaign is underway. Collector Divya Umesh Mishra has taken a heartwarming step by adopting two malnourished girls, Kumari Himanshi from Chichbod and Kumari Tejaswi from Parsoda village. She has taken full responsibility for their care to bring them into the category of well-nourished children. Collector Mishra met the malnourished children and their families at her office in the Joint District Office. During the meeting, she lovingly gave biscuits and toffees to the children. Himanshi is two-and-a-half years old and Tejaswi is four years old. Mishra also inquired about the children’s diet and upbringing to help them achieve a normal nutritional state.
