Uttarakhand’s academic calendar kicked off with a bang as UBSE announced Class 10 and 12 results for 2026 on Saturday morning. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took to X to shower praise on the high achievers, hailing their dedication.
‘Heartiest congratulations to all who passed the high school and intermediate exams,’ Dhami posted. He attributed their success to relentless hard work and discipline, wishing them bright futures filled with accomplishments.
Turning to underperformers, the CM offered words of encouragement: ‘Stay patient, keep a positive mindset, and success will follow with steady efforts.’
Breaking down the stats: Class 10 boasted a 92.10% pass rate overall. Girls excelled with 96.07%, compared to 88.03% for boys. Leading the pack was Ramnagar’s Akshat Gopal at 98.20%, with Ishant Kothari and Bhumika at 98% in joint second, and Yogesh Joshi third at 97.80%.
In Class 12, pass percentage stood at 85.11%, girls at 88.09% and boys at 81.93%. Top honors went jointly to Bageshwar’s Geetika Pant and Udham Singh Nagar’s Sushila Mehandiratta, both scoring 98%.
