As geopolitical tensions simmer in West Asia, India’s Central government on Wednesday dismissed supply shortage fears for petrol, diesel, and LPG. Efforts by the DPIIT continue to support industries and secure supply chains nationwide.

On the evacuation front, 11.91 lakh Indians have returned since late February, backed by round-the-clock embassy support and helplines. Maritime safety is prioritized, exemplified by the safe passage of Indian tanker ‘Desh Garima’ carrying 31 sailors, due in Mumbai today.
