States like Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan are under a heat alert, with temperatures expected to climb by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius by April 15. Delhi-NCR is also on the path to a scorching summer start. With no rain predicted until at least April 18, the maximum temperature is steadily climbing. Meanwhile, the mountain regions of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand are looking at a change in weather with light rain predicted.
