In a blistering critique from Kharagpur, BJP’s Dilip Ghosh accused the Mamata Banerjee-led TMC of plunging West Bengal into chaos, with anti-national forces running amok. Speaking to reporters on April 13, the assembly candidate didn’t hold back.

On the Women’s Reservation Bill, Ghosh was optimistic: ‘It will pass into law—Modi’s ironclad guarantee. Women need empowerment beyond handouts; they demand dignity and protection.’

Describing statewide anarchy, he stated, ‘Violence grips Bengal—arson on buses, trains, BJP offices. This ‘tukde-tukde’ syndicate aids the disorder. BJP will dismantle it upon victory.’

Ghosh promised zero tolerance for corruption: ‘Every TMC crook will face justice under BJP rule. People trust Modi’s word. Mamata’s ouster is imminent.’ He praised PM Modi’s inclusive development model as Bengal’s salvation.

Ghosh previously flagged police bias, claiming officers coerce voters for TMC using threats. Fears of bomb blasts and cash-for-votes have materialized, threatening democratic fairness.

Joining the chorus, Odisha’s Mukesh Mahaling predicted a transformative shift: ‘Bengal’s future brightens with Modi. Our manifesto emphasizes healthcare.’

Ghosh’s bold statements signal BJP’s aggressive campaign to reclaim Bengal from alleged misrule, promising stability and progress.
