In a bold proclamation from the national capital, BJP stalwart Syed Shahnavaz Hussain has declared that West Bengal’s future lies with his party, spelling doom for Mamata Banerjee’s TMC. Aligning with JP Nadda’s vision, Hussain firmly believes BJP is set to seize power in the eastern state.
During an IANS interview, the veteran leader criticized Banerjee’s focus on infiltrators at the expense of locals. ‘Let BJP shoulder Bengal’s burdens. We’ll deliver the progress its people demand,’ he assured.
Hussain highlighted TMC’s decade-and-a-half of misrule, devoid of development or effective administration. ‘The public yearns for change. BJP will foster trust over terror and win handsomely,’ he stated confidently.
His enthusiasm spilled over to Assam, where he anticipates a landslide, alongside promising performances in Kerala and Puducherry. Long lines at BJP-favoring booths signal a revival, while he dismissed Congress efforts as superficial.
Addressing the controversy in Indore where a Congress corporator rejected Vande Mataram, Hussain called it heartbreaking. ‘Living in India means honoring Vande Mataram and the national anthem. Congress’s stance is deplorable,’ he remarked.
Turning to women’s empowerment, Hussain lauded Modi’s transformative steps like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, financial inclusion for women, and the landmark Nari Shakti bill. With Parliament’s session extension, he anticipates smooth passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill, paving the way for greater parliamentary participation by women.
