Uttar Pradesh Minister Sanjay Nishad has voiced his approval of the hard-won ceasefire between America and Iran, calling it a step in the right direction amid global tensions. In an interview, he extended congratulations to both sides and stressed the need for development over discord.
Nishad argued that no nation should compromise its democratic sovereignty under external pressure. ‘The international community bears a responsibility to mediate constructively, especially as economies become ever more intertwined,’ he said.
The minister detailed how past escalations in the US-Iran standoff led to inflation in commodity prices worldwide. Yet, India’s central schemes ensured minimal disruption for the common man. ‘Unlike previous governments that let prices spiral unchecked, the BJP regime is actively working to reduce them as availability improves,’ he highlighted.
Nishad painted a picture of global peace through negotiation rather than warfare, which only brings suffering to ordinary people. He warned that unchecked conflicts exacerbate economic woes, from fuel to food costs.
In a political broadside, Nishad criticized Mamata Banerjee’s West Bengal government for allegedly purging voter rolls unfairly via SIR drives. ‘The public is weary of TMC’s misrule and is poised to embrace BJP governance. Mamata’s panic is evident in her attempts to confuse voters,’ he asserted.
As the world watches the US-Iran dynamics evolve, Nishad’s comments underscore India’s balanced stance on international affairs while prioritizing domestic stability and growth.
