Police arrived swiftly under SHO Adikant Mahato’s lead. The site’s proximity to a high-voltage 11kV line suggests electrocution as the likely cause, though murder angles remain under scrutiny. Shifting to Koderma, heartbreak struck Navadih village when missing farmer Kishore Yadav, 55, was located suspended from a forest tree. Missing since April 5 while tending livestock, his disappearance prompted a police complaint the next day. Wood-gatherers found him Wednesday, alerting Dhab SHO Bambam Sah.
The body went straight to post-mortem at the district hospital. Relatives disclosed Yadav’s ongoing mental health struggles, leaning investigators toward suicide.
