Under the transfer order issued by the General Administration Department, Chhattisgarh Government, as the 17th Collector of Dhamtari district, 2010 batch officer of the Indian Administrative Service, Shri P.S. Elma took over today at 11.00 am. During this, while discussing with the reporters, he said that the all-round development of the district is his first priority. Collector Elma said that he would make every effort for proper implementation of the flagship schemes of the state government and would discharge all the responsibilities that the government would get. Prior to this, the retiring collector Shri Jaiprakash Maurya has been transferred from the district to Director Geology and Mining and Managing Director Chhattisgarh State Mineral Development Corporation and has been relieved of the charge of additional charge of Director Town and Village Investment.
On this occasion, Additional Collector Shri Dilip Agarwal, SDM Dhamtari Shri Chandrakant Kaushik, Municipal Commissioner Shri Manish Mishra, Deputy Collector Shri D.C. District level officials including Banjare extended their congratulations and best wishes to the new collector Mr. Elma.
