President Zelensky Calls for More Air‑Defense Aid After Nightlong Assault

President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed deep sympathy for the families of the 13 victims killed in the latest Russian missile strike on Ukrainian residential districts. He affirmed that emergency teams continue to provide medical assistance to more than 90 injured civilians.

The president stressed that strengthening Ukraine's air‑defence system remains the highest priority. He thanked leaders who support the "Pearl" programme and highlighted the tangible impact of bilateral defence agreements.

Zelensky also urged the United States to move forward with licensing for Patriot missile systems and other anti‑ballistic technologies, arguing that such steps are essential to deter future attacks and protect civilian lives.

He concluded by thanking the international community for standing with Ukraine in its effort to safeguard its people and territory.
