Washington Calls on Companies to Cease Business with Designated Iranian Carriers

State Department spokesperson Tommy Pigott appealed to firms worldwide to reevaluate any commercial ties with sanctioned Iranian carriers, especially Great Air. He warned that continued dealings pose serious threats to American people, allies and regional stability. The United States pledged to keep exposing and disrupting entities that provide the IRGC with tools and intelligence used to threaten U.S. interests and partners.
