This year’s edition of the "Har Ghar Tiranga" movement has been dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the iconic song "Vande Mataram." Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to the public on social media, urging each household to fly the Indian flag on August 15 as a tribute to the nation’s progress.

In a short video, the Prime Minister said, "Celebrate the day with pride, honour our freedom fighters, and pledge to build a developed India. Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Man Tiranga."

The slogan has been reinforced with posts that describe the flag as a source of inspiration for citizens to give their best for the country. Organisers view the 2026 campaign as a way to blend historical remembrance with a forward‑looking vision for a prosperous India.
